Working with a clean slate, we pulled together our knowledge of accountancy firm web designs and came up with a few winning examples to show to the GreenMetric’s team. As one of the few players in their market, there wasn’t a lot of competition to analyse but we leveraged industry norms and came up with some suggestions for extra features to be developed in. Our lead designer also mocked up some logos and colours for their brand to suit. With the GreenMetric’s team, we agreed a clean and professional look was the way forward. Warwick talked to us about how he wanted GreenMetric’s to take charge of their market and solidify their position as leaders. We suggested to add in a Case Studies & Resource page so their team could consistently add content, keeping the website fresh, updated, active, and working to increase their search engine optimisation (SEO) ranking.

Starting on the design

After deciding on the style, we began working on the initial site mock up. Starting with the Home page as the guiding template. We designed in a large video header showcasing the industries they service and added appropriate call-to-actions linking to their Services page, Contact page, and About page. Because GreenMetric’s was still in the forming stages, we made sure the site was scalable for future growth and expansion. We settled on a white and black colour scheme using #3BC168 green as their hero colour.

Wrapping it all together

Finishing off the web project, Warwick and Lyall were very happy with the final result.  The website perfectly communicated their messaging and image through the design and features. We’ve allowed the space for the site to grow further and are even in talks about the next steps to expand it out.
